Thought it would be smart to include a map of Corsica to see where we are and where we've been...
So here it is... photographed and edited... clear enough to give you an idea.

Here's a ferry leaving Bastia while we were leaving the Port too...
Yes they are big!

Below, the captain is checking his GPS to make sure we get to our next destination...
Solenzara it will be... About 9 hrs of sailing. This time we were lucky and the weather forecasts were not accurate. We were suppose to have Southerly winds and we got some good Easterly winds and we sailed a good part of the way.

We arrived at 6pm in Solenzara, got the boat tied properly and went for delicious PIZZA! Yes, Alain knows this place and it was true to its past quality.

Not much picture of the Port of Solenzara as there isn't much to show. Maybe I'll take a few when we leave.
As of June 3rd, we're still here waiting for weather to clear some. Thunderstorms, a little too strong winds and swells, and a desire to rest a day after spending a day cleaning up a storage bin that had leaked... several years ago, Alain said. So pulled everything out, while Alain was fixing a winch that refused to work while docking.
Then I washed the deck and the boat was looking bright and ready for the next trip.

Hard to believe but all that stuff fits in that bin...

Sunset was gorgeous on Friday night...

and I waited for the Full Moon to rise... but the picture does not do justice to the sight... Magic! Tried to catch the reflection on the sea but was too dark when the moon was so orange.
