This is another page with lots of photos... so wait for full download...

Well, my dear friends, I'm falling behind with my writing... and photos journal... Actually, I'm taking few pictures lately, and profiting from Mathew(roomate)'s good cameraman-ship and his brief excursions off the boat. I don't leave the ship...

No, you are not mistaking... I have skipped, for the moment, a few days...
It's easier to write fresh news... as they happen...

Well, this morning, seeing the port of Palermo, I really was tempted... First port that is so close to the city, we can walk to it. No autocar needed... unless we sign up for one of the excursions offered.

It's now 14:00, I was sitting on my private balcony reading and enjoying the feeling of having my floating penthouse parked in the port. A feeling that I can't describe... And a feeling of having nothing to see or desire to run...
Sorry if you were expecting to discover vicariously.

Actually, if you can imagine a big fat pussycat curled up peacefully on a window sill or deck chair, watching the people go by, the seagulls fly by, liking my paw once in a while with contentment and satiety... well, you have a pretty good feeling of what I'm living. Not one care in the world, knowing my food is served in orgiasmic quantities and beauty on level 9... relaxation treatment on same level, supplemented with a hot Sicilian sunshine and clear blue sky with the Mediterranean sea for ever... once I lift my eyes above the huge cranes and shipyard...

We'll be sailing away in a few hours... 17:30 actually... and I'll take more photos as we leave... and will try to have a few more pages finished for tomorrow too... Our last day of sailing.

17:30 came, the ship pulled off and we were on our way. Had time to watch the sailing away before getting dressed up for our last FORMAL night... and even a cocktail party - mixer for Abraham-Hicks people.

Leaving Palermo

We never saw Ester and Jerry, however, as this is not about them but about us.

Actually, I never saw Ester and Jerry on the boat... never. Except for the scheduled affairs. Nobody else did either. They must disappear...

Hors d'oeuvre and cocktails... and then, dinner time. Energies were high... people knew each other more and there's been sharing etc...
So the tables were quite lively tonite!!!

The GRAND FINALE... flaming Baked Alaska... the traditional dessert for end of cruises. They turned off the lights and here came these 30 some waiters with sparkling Baked Alaska... After, there was a little commentary and intro to the Executive Chef and staff and organizers... So we had several rounds of applause...

I finished the evening with a talent show that turned out hilarious! We laughed so much... my cheeks were hurting!!
