Dear Friends,

I would like to start with a BIG, HUGE, THANK YOU! to all of you who had a special thought for me for my Birthday around May 8th. Your thoughts and wishes were with me on this glorious day... A special moment I offered myself with JOY and LOVE in my heart. And to everybody else regardless of my Birthday, regardless you're thinking about me or not... THANK YOU and much LOVE and JOY to you.

Thanks for all your good wishes and "prayers", I was inspired to offer myself a grand Birthday that really tickled all my cells and senses...

On Monday, as I was taking my bath in the morning, I had the brilliant idea to simply go to the Mediterranean Sea... Offer myself the real SEAGULL treat!
And I had to do it with fun... so what better way than renting a convertible and driving down to Southern France for the day?
A mere 500 km (about 230 miles!). I'm a good long distance driver as you know... so off I went. And this car was equipped with Cruise Control too! How fun!

With a lovely brand new Volkswagen EOS, some nice music, top down, left Geneva at 14:30 and was on the beach at 18:30!

Found out that the seasonal Beach Restaurants were already opened... so I found one with flare and made a reservation. Then checked in a hotel room and fixed a cocktail and enjoyed cocktail hour on the balcony with the view... from the 7th floor...
Cheers!!! To all of you who had a toast in "spirit" with me... we toasted together regardless of the time..."beyond time and space"...

That's the same drink mind you... just several photos!! Oh! and many toasts with the same drink, YES!!!

And this toast is not a tricked photo! Believe me, that's what I found when I put the files on my computer! It is so good... too bad it's so dark. The message and meaning is there though!

The restaurant was about 2 km (a mile or so) from my hotel... a lovely walk on the beach, sunset, perfect weather... PERFECT!
Arrived in time for my reservation...

The dinner experience was beyond description... I wish at one point I could have taken pictures. It was a delicate, eye-sight and taste buds gourmet experience, small exquisite portions done with art, beauty and a combination of tastes... What can I say?
A 1/2 bottle of light red Cote du Rhone... would you believe with the name: "Grains de Sagesse" which translates into: "Seeds or Grains of Wisdom".

Well... with a couple cocktails, a long walk barefoot on the beach, 4 hours drive with the wind and the sun...and that half bottle of wine... I don't know if the grains of wisdom slipped out of the glass or out of my brains... I was in no condition to drive! But luckily, I remembered I had walked... so that meant I had to walk back to my hotel!
That didn't put much wisdom back in my brain either. I simply spaced out on the stars and the waves lapping gently the shore... and YES! did make it back to my room to sleep soundly.

A Proverb...A Joke I got lately...

Un proverbe Valaisan
(In English it says: "Better have Parkinson disease than Alzheimer, because it is preferable to spill a little WINE than forgetting to drink it!".)

What a perfect day that was!!! And with all of you in my heart... without the bother of gifts or no gifts, talking or not talking, knowing what to say or not, trying to mix and match people who don't know each other...
Your pure Spirit presence and your LOVE was so much more precious to me!!
I wished you, and sent you the same from the sea and the JOY and LOVE I experienced on that day.

Tuesday morning, May 8th, I got up very early, yoga and a wonderful Chakra meditation made me blissful to get back on the road to Geneva. But before, did my little walk on the beach, watching the sun rise at 6:30 with all the seagulls flying around...
Blissful!

Drive back and guess what? It was cloudy! And my face was sun burnt from yesterday anyway! How perfect! Didn't put the top down this time. Just the sunroof open. Yes! A hard-top convertible car with even a sunroof in the top!! I was amazed at the refinement of the technology... like would you believe the door windows going down a centimeter each time you open the door or unlock the car so the windows can fit tightly with the top... Impressed I was!

Made a little stop in Montelimar to visit with my friend, Danielle and her Mom. Danielle had intended to visit in Geneva for my Birthday but the plans changed.
Arrived in Geneva 12:30 and brought the car back and rested for the rest of the day... simply savoring the moments just experienced!
Truely a SPECIAL grand day!
